Stage Designs

Angled Pieces

Esteban Solís from Iglesia El Centro in San José, Costa Rica brings us this beautiful look.

They asked their architect to design something that would give more texture and warmth to the stage, while looking cool. She and her team developed a solution using metallic frames anchored to the walls, covered in pyramidal arranged plywood; with simple fluorescent lights for backlight. The structure helped to hide most of the messy cables behind the stage, created a small space for the tech team to fix anything on stage without disturbing the service, regulated the sound, and looked good whether the stage was fully lit or off. The fluorescent lights were LED.

They used black fabric behind the structure to keep light from bleeding out.
