Stage Designs

Folded

Paulo Junior from Igreja de Família in Belo Horizonte, Brazil brings us this stage design inspired by Stage Origami.

They used 6 wood 4’x8’ sheets, cutting them to shape, halfway up, to fold, and give a tapered effect that would produce some shadows for a tridimensional effect. For the framing, they used 1-5/8” iron studs, configuring forms that would project the wood shapes 12” to the front, alternating top and bottom projections with middle projections. Then they fixed the frames to the existing back wall.

In addition, they have an LED screen, so they changed the design to include the screen within the design.
