Honeycomb Christmas

David Glenn / Steven Hall from Fellowship Bible Church in Roswell, GA brings us this cool honeycomb look.

For Christmas, the team at Fellowship Bible Church reached out to Mod Scenes for help to create a beautiful design that was a bit of a departure from the standard Christmas set of lights and trees. David Glenn, at Fellowship Bible Church, wanted to create a reflective surface that would take light great and give a more modern look to their stage. Hexagon and holy hexagon panels were chosen for the design. These panels provided for a modern look while leaving some negative space as well.

During the design process, a sign featuring the series artwork for Christmas was added. The “Hope of Christmas” sign used a clear acrylic backer that PVC letters were attached to. We used Grip lock connectors to easily hang and level the sign. To further the modern Christmas look, silhouetted trees were made using white coroplast instead of traditional Christmas trees.

In the photos, you can see some of the design process and the final product.
