Jeff Abbott from Ada Bible Church in Grand Rapids, MI brings us this cool mixture of lights and zig zagging walls. (Originally posted August 2014)
To create this set, he used 2×4’s and OSB. He designed two different light columns to give an alternating IN/OUT pattern to the wall. Each column had a 4 channel dimmer pack giving them control of each light individually. The light fixtures were Booder Lamps. This set lasted from fall through Christmas. For Christmas, Jeff cut a panel with the negative of a snow flake in the center from foamcore and put that panel over the lamps giving them a cool look.

Nice Texture & contrast. Wonder what it would’ve looked like painted a shade of gray. It’s tough to get good color out of natural wood but the reds look great.
One of the coolest original ideas I have ever seen! Fantastic job guys and gals!!
Hi Jeff, that’s beautiful stage design…
How much you spent on everything?
Are you still have it now and plan to donate it or you already turn for something else?
Hi Jeff. I would like to know how you determined the angles of the OSB and 2×4’s to be sure of its stability and balance. I really love this design
