Dropping Twinkles

Andrea Trimbur from Valley Community Church in Peoria, Arizona brings us these showers of Christmas lights.

They decided to take advantage of the height of their stage and hang strands of lights from PVC pipes from the ceiling. It really illuminated the whole room well.

They hung the PVC pipes using some heavy duty fishing line, and anchored them in the ceiling and the floor. To power the blue lights, they just connected several strands of lights together and strung them up and ran the power to a dimmer. Then they controlled it through their light board. For the white lights in the front they used 4-foot long power strips and hung each strand from its own plug and powered the light strip through a dimmer to their light board as well.

Wondering what your church used for the black background. Our church is similar and we are looking to cover our back wall (currently wood) in a fabric or some type of material to give us the black background. We have the same sharp angles at the top.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
