Jay Wilde from Quarry Rock Church in Dell Rapids, SD brings us this winter wonderland of a stage.
Jay wanted to do something new and fresh, being a newly hired pastor, for Christmas. Being a small church, they have a limited budget for new things. But this project cost totaled right around $50.
- Foam tag board for the snowflakes
He made stencils using copy paper taped together
- Cluster foam stuffing
Hot glued onto strands of fishing line for the snow that looks like it’s falling, which were attached to wooden dowels, then screwed into the ceiling so he could reuse them because it took a long time to hot glue all the snow
- Regular fluffy stuffing for on the floor
They only had 4 LED cans, so he used those to light up four columns of the falling snow. To give a little different effect, he programed the lights to be blue, but alternate a light turning to white and back to blue (sort of a very slow flash of white), programming from left to right the pattern 1, 3, 2, 4, repeat.
