It’s Time

William Colle from CRosSWILD camps in Tallahassee, Florida brings us this timely stage design.

They built two 8′ clocks. The clock face was two separate semi-circles each cut from a 4×8 piece of plywood. Then the two pieces were painted black and hinged together where they met. The numbers were just 11-inch x 2-inch rectangles of the same plywood as the clock face. They cut the pieces of plywood to angles to make the v’s, and cut out of the “x” pieces where the two pieces met.

Then the whole thing was lifted and put on the legs. They were essentially upside down t’s screwed into the backs of the clocks.

Then they hung crumpled up wire mesh on the back wall to give it a ruff look.

“Wow!”, was the first thing I said when I saw this. It immediately grabbed my attention because of the two big clocks. Nice work!

About how much did this cost?

  3. William says:

    Thanks!

The whole project cost us around $250
