Christmas Designs

Ornaments

Lisa Young from Briarlake Church in Decatur, GA brings us this ornamental stage design.

Their design was inspired by the Spheres and Trees design. They modified the design based on the bokeh effect of Christmas lights in a lens. They made the “lights” with metallic lame fabric wrapped around on side of a hula hoop via fabric tape. The fabric became translucent when lit, giving it a light bulb effect.

They spray painted trees white and blinged them out with oversized snowflakes from a dollar store. They printed their series logo on strips of paper joined to wooden frames making the center graphic that was about 10’x5′.

Total cost: $300.

This is beautiful! I love the simplicity and the fact that it can so easily be resized for a smaller church as well. The 3D effect of the logo is great also.

What did you use to make the “ornament hanger” topper?
