Jasen Campbell from Brevard Community Church in Brevard, NC brings us this hexagonical flying V shape that would make a flock of geese cry tears of joy.
They used mostly stuff found around the church and donated products to create this design.
They used four 1×2’s on the sides of the V to make it feel more 3-d. Then they used velcro and gaff tape to attach the white-faced cardboard hexagons.
They lit them all with LED lighting to give versatility in colors.
Great idea. Simple, effective, and pretty cool looking.
thanks it was alot of fun had a great team of help!!
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you mount the LED lighting for this piece? And which fixtures were you using to light it?
back in the day we were using Small LED multi color spot lights. We would mount the LEDs a far distance to make the light washout i a wide pattern. The wall behind is a flat black so we wouldn’t see the color cast on it.
awesome job, looks great in the space!
