Christmas Designs

Wooded Glow

Ronnie Martin from Substance Church in Ashland, Ohio brings us this Christmas stage design for their church plant.

The recently moved into a revitalized warehouse in the heart of the downtown.

This space was completely blank, but with a ton of character. So they crafted a basic stage, and then the “wall” made out of aged pallets. The pallets were individually broken down, and then placed in jig saw fashion into a pattern. The boards were each screwed into large sheets of heavy plywood. They were bolted into the stage with L brackets and then attached to the wall, midway up for additional security. The pallets were free, which kept costs down. The entire series of three walls cost $200.

Then they added some Christmas lights to give it a nice glow and some spirit.
