Angled Triangles

Spencer Carl from Believers Church in Suffolk, VA brings us this awesome look.

From Spencer: The triangles are 1×2 wood frames with screws in every inch and a string/yarn interwoven using the screws along the perimeter to give the webbed look. They were actually gifted to us from another church…they didnt have lighting in them so we added LED tape lights to all of them with RGBW capabilities and then hung them all with black paracord from different angles and vantage points in our pipe grid in the ceiling.

The main horizontal LED bar lights you see are also a large wooden structure built by us with LED trays to hold more LED tape using a laser level to make them perfectly straight to the viewer. Those also then have RGBW in them and we installed the diffusers on them to make them less harsh at higher brightness percentages and did the exact same process on our Drum riser and Keyboard riser by just installing the tray with LED tape in them directly to the risers using double sided tape.

All the LED fixtures run the RGBW lines to 3 different decoders which then switch…

All the info to DMX which in turn runs to the floor boxes that runs under the floor to our Lighting Console in the booth.
