Stage Designs

Asterisk

Chase Hilliard from Clover Hill Assembly of God in Richmond brings us this giant asterisk on their stage. (Originally posted June 2014)

They were inspired by a design on this site that used the bright screen mesh to create the ripple effects. They spent a total of $500 on the design. They just recently branded their church, so they built a 6.5′ scale model out of 1/2″ PVC that they had cut from a local sign maker in Richmond. (screencrafts inc. rva). It took about 350 ft to cover their whole back wall with 2 foward walls to cover the side entries. They zip tied one end to the rafters and the other they stapled to the floor. They used an array of lights including LED par cans for the logo, and Colorstrips and Colorados for the wall.
