Brad Wygle from The Village Church in Flower Mound, TX bring us this awesome foam wall.
They purchased over 2100 4″ Styrofoam Cubes (polystyrene to be exact) and cut them each in half using a hotwire cutter at randomized angles. Then they glued them (Aleene’s Tacky Glue) directly to drywall and leveled each row accordingly placing them in (as much as they humanly could) randomized patterns. Next step was 2 layers of primer and 1 layer of paint (latex paint only) to rid the shine and gloss from the inherent nature of styrofoam.
Total cost of supplies (not including paint) = <$1,400.00 (the wall is 472 sq. ft.)
This looks awesome! Are you able to tell me where you purchased the styrofoam cubes from?
what color did you paint these cubes? I assume a light grey or white?!?!
