Tommy Cash from Citymark Church in League City, TX brings us this faux video wall.
They made 2 sizes of frames with 1×2’s. 2′ X 2′ and 2′ X 4′. Then they painted the frames black and then added banner paper from Hobby Lobby to the back side. They hung them at 3 different depths to create a 3D feel using heavy fishing line and eye hooks. They lit them from the back using LED Par cans and then from the front using LED Spots with gobos to give it a “Video Wall” type feel.
The ARTIS3 designed, built, and hung these in 1 day with 1 volunteer from the church.
This is a great idea! How did you get the different depths? We only have one bar to hang from.
