Lanterned

Anna Ruth Johnson from Haran Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA brings us these awesome DIY lanterns.

For their spring Evening of Worship, Anna cut these lanterns from foam board and lined them with gossamer fabric. She made three sizes: approximately 20×36 inches, 15×30 inches, and 13×26 inches.

They mounted the highest lanterns on 1-1/2 inch ABS pipe mounted to wood with PVC table screw caps. The lower lanterns were on small tables they had on hand. They placed a Par can light inside each lantern.

They covered the stage walls with landscape fabric over LED curtain string lights for a starry effect.
