Lights in Lines

Jeff Boriss from Community Christian Church: Yellow Box in Naperville, IL brings us this lovely, luminescent design.

The concept was to look a bit like an old theater. For this one they painted some 2x4s flat black, then measured out the spacing and used a hole saw to drill evenly spaced holes in the wood. Then they pushed the sockets of one of those patio bulb lighting strip things and screwed in the lightbulbs from the opposite side. They simply cut off the ends if they were too long. They all got plugged into a standard dimmer. They connected one to another using standard safety cables.
