Stage Designs

Lights Poking Out

D.J. Serrecchia of Teklite Associates with Crossroads Church of East Islip in East Islip, New York brings us this tech upgrade design.

This was project was part of a multi-project upgrade.

This design was envisioned from discussions with Pastor Kenny, about wanting to change up some of their current stage design to a contemporary, upgraded look.

From discussions and revisions, they determined keeping the original pallet wall was for the best of the church and the congregation. Maintaining the rustic feel.

They found ourselves stuck between 3 designs they were envisioning and decided to combine them.

Teklite installed this flexible lighting system into this space, introducing the use of uplights, downlights, backlights and Edison-style light bulbs.

With this design, it gave the church the ability to have multiple stage designs within it for different series or looks they are hoping to create.

The Teklite Electrical Team also converted their existing house lighting system to a dimmer system to be controlled on their lighting controller and new wall panel.

The following equipment was used:
>9 PAR 56 RGB
>3 Venue PAR RGB
> 16 LED Dimmable Edison Bulbs
>Springtree SM-8 Lighting Control Panel
>ADJ 4 Channel Dimmer Pack
>Elation 128 Channel Lighting Controller
