Joe Rooney from LifeWay Community Church in Sylva, NC brings us this super simple but beautiful design.
They created this oversized brick stage design using 2’x4′ 1/8″ plywood pieces, whitewashed. The lumber and paint was less than $75. They got the plywood pre-cut from Lowes.

What did they paint them with?
I used a large sponge.
No sorry, I mean was a certain kind of paint to be the light to reflect, or what.
It’s standard white house paint.
What kind of lights and how many are you using?
4 Chauvet ColorRail and 2 Chauvet ColorPallet.
Wow!! Joe, this is so nice and simple!! Great job!
How did you attach the 2x4s to the wall?
2x4s are a permanent fixture. Standard frame for a wall attached to stage and ceiling.
Hey man, looks good. Do you remember the spacing you used between the panels?
Thanks
16in left and right. 8in top and bottom.
Looks great!
