Mapped Out

Eric Crews from Chourthouse Road Church in Richmond, VA brings us this road trip themed stage design.

Their pastor was starting a series entitled “Journey with Jesus”. So they started with a big sign post that had the series title at the top and each of the parts as directional signs. They created this sign post from cheap cedar fence planks from Lowes and paint they had from a previous project. Then they gathered a bunch of luggage. They ended up getting a few pieces from local thrift stores. They picked up some vintage travel stickers from Amazon and pasted them all over the luggage. Finally, on the back wall, they covered it in maps. These were National Geographic maps that they got from Ebay (Random Maps) and Craigslist (Sets of old National Geographic Magazines).
