Brad Cleghorn from Marengo First Assembly of God in Marengo, IL brings us this this steam punk style design.
Their pastor started a new series entitled “Synergy: Engaging Your Dynamic Potential” and wanted a ‘steampunk’ feel that focused on gears. They cut out an intricate gear design from foam core and oversized gears from larger foam insulation. They added these gears to their existing pallet walls. They lit the pallet walls with LED color strips and the hanging gears were lit with LED pars.
I love the gears! We have an environment that was recently renovated in the Steam Punk style but I have paused at the gears. I wondered if you might be willing and able to share the paint techniques you used to paint the gears. Thanks in advance!
