Pushers

Kristina from Life Church in Aston, PA brings us these pushy stage design elements.

They are a mobile church that meets in middle schools Saturday nights and Sundays mornings. So they are always trying to find new things that are cheap, durable and portable.

To create this set they took 4 pieces of insulation board and painted them black. Then they used a lamp to make a shadow and painted them white.

They used 4 can lights on a piece of scrap wood from an older project – with green and blue filters to match the logo.

This design cost $65 and it held up even 4 moves each weekend.

That’s really cool! I’m always looking for something that won’t break the budget!

This is great I recently just did a stage design for my church at our main campus, but we also have a mobile campus & I face the challenge on how to do things that pop that can transition easy..

I like it. The figures pushing reminds me of the iTunes advertisements. Good job connecting to the pop culture, even if it may have been unintentional. That’s called..bumping into a plan. I love it when that happens, but don’t tell anybody. Let them think it was one of your original ideas.

Any ideas on how to get them to prop up to be used freestanding?
