Jeff Fultz from Landing Place Church in Commerce City, CO brings us this awesome texture.
This design was made from 5 cases of PVC 3D wall panels (19.7” x 19.7”) available through Amazon. They used a pneumatic stapler to attach the panels to a false wall that they painted with Rosco Video Black paint.
Jeff had decided to place each panel at an angle because it created a more interesting profile. The PVC pieces were cut with a small table saw. The gaps left in the middle, where the panels came together, were first filled in with expanding spray foam and then covered with white bath/tub caulk.
The light tubes were created by running 2 strips of LED RGB tape (affixed back to back) through fluorescent light bulb protective tubes that were sanded with 220 grit sandpaper to give them a frosted look. The tubes were then glued in place with clear silicone.
