Mike Campbell from Esoteric Visions brings us these tall, homemade paper lanterns.
He made 4 columns from straws and tissue paper made into triangles and used to make geometric panels. They’d used this on a very large scale to make theater sets, so they just adapted it here. Each column was lit by 2 ColorKey StagePAR64 LED lights (one from the top, one from the bottom, inside the columns). Each column weighed less than one pound.
I love the look and the idea! Please provide more specific instructions.
I would love to recreate this as well. Could I get more specific instructions? Thank you!
I am sorry I can’t give out specific instructions. My designer who does this sells these as artwork and I can’t give away his proprietary knowledge.
Hi Mike,
Can you please provide the designers contact info. I may be interested in purchasing some of their artwork. Do they have a website?
Thanks
Tonia
He doesn’t do the internet (email or website) but if you would like, click on my name to send me an email and I will give you his phone number.
Really cool design and so inexpensive! Great idea!
