Toppled Stage Design

Kaleb Wilcox from Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, IL brings us this falling domino stage design. (Originally posted February 2014)

They needed a simple and energetic design. These stage elements were made from fiberglass roofing panels ranging from 6 feet to 15 feet long and about 2 feet wide. Each one was hung with 2 aircraft cables and gliders to allow easy adjustment of the panels. They were up lit with Chauvet Colorado Tour 1s on the floor. Other lights included Robe 136LTs, Martin Mac 250s, Elation Design Wash 250s, and good old fashioned par cans on the floor, providing a great tungsten swell when needed. The set was completed with a 5 foot x 20 foot LED curtain that was fed environmental content via ProPresenter.
