Joyce Schonsheck from St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Walled Lake, Michigan brings us this Christmas design for a more traditional space.
From Joyce: A smaller stage design and an extremely limited budget are the limitations we work with as we created with this year’s Advent design in mind. We raised the white light filled trees so they appear taller than the 5ft and 7ft trees they are. Floated many different shades and textures of blue banners overhead and finished it off with colored circle garland and the theme banner created with glitter letters.
We utilized many of the pieces from years past…trees, altar hangings and blue banners. Cost for this design was $17.00 ($15.00 for the bright colored paper for circles and $2.00 for a pot of glitter). White banner paper is salvaged from a blueprint machine paper roll…they can’t use the paper to the end of the roll paper.
