Easter Designs

Ancient City

Emerson Medeiros from Igreja da Cidade em São José dos Campos in São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil brings us this huge scale Easter stage design.

The total project took 45 days, between design, assembly, and finishing it for six services.

The stage was very extensive and was built with flexible 6mm plywood. The walls were also made with plywood and lined with Styrofoam 30mm high density, burned with a blower, giving the look of rock.

They also added more rocks from styrofoam and crumpled paper.

They build a fountain, which was the central point for the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus, also carved from Styrofoam, which was painted with water-based varnish. .

The trunks of the trees were made with crumpled paper and glue.
