Josh Engler from Grace Avenue Church in San Antonio, Texas brings us their livestream setup.
From Josh: We really wanted to use an Infiniti photo wall look and don’t have one on site at our broadcast campus. So we used a set of Pipe and Drape stands and bases to erect a simple frame that we attached a few sections of photo backdrop paper to the top rail for support. We had to make sure that the paper didn’t tear while hanging it. That’s the backdrop.
For the set design, we purchased a set of American DJ Pixel tubes and C-Stands used for photography lighting and assembled the “Light Sabers” in a random pattern in the set. We also have 8 LED bar lights that we placed around the set and hazed the set to get the color saturation. All the lighting was placed while checking the way the shot looked through the cameras. We also tested this on a private Facebook account to monitor visual and audio quality before recording and posting.
