Dropped Slats

Vickie Wuellner from Lenexa Christian Center in Lenexa, Kansas brings us these tall hanging slat design pieces.

This design was done using what they had on hand and design elements they had used before.

First thing they did was take 3 sheets of white Coroplast and cut them in different sized strips using a coroclaw. Then they attached the strips onto 4 black sheets of Coroplast with gaffers tape on the back of the strip. The 2/16 ft panels were from a previous set called squiggles on this site. Then they anchored all pieces to the back wall. The 16 ft panels were back lit with LED strip lights on top and on bottom. The white planks were lit with 12 Par 64 slims.

Because they had all materials on hand, the design didn’t cost them anything. Otherwise the cost would have been 11 sheets of Coroplast, at around $120.
