Jeff Eberhardt from Bridgeway Christian Church in Roseville, CA brings us this design for a Women in Leadership series.
They started with 24 Coroplast 4’ x 4’ panels backlit with LED bars attached on the back of each vertical frame piece. They added semi-transparent scrim swagged in front of the upstage panels (reused from a kabuki drop build a few years back). Then they projected some ribbon waves and painted them on the Coroplast for side stage interest.
For the series, they were trying to do something a bit more feminine in approach, so they carved out the tops of the columns to present a less rigid approach. The abstract veil approach was to be representative a bit of the stability of leadership women have held the in the church but often times in the shadows or behind the scenes. They are trying to pull the curtain back and engage conversation on understanding women’s roles in leadership roles in the church.
