Mark Thomas from Foundry Church in Castle Pines, CO brings us this cool repurposed design.
They had a ton of old cedar fence boards they got for free so they pulled as many usable planks that they could and used them as a set design.
They started by screwing 2×4’s (mostly from the old fence) to the studs in the wall. Then they just grabbed a nail gun and started applying the fence planks. They oriented them on a diagonal to give the look some movement. The stage is very small and this design made it feel a lot bigger.
All in all it only took one day to do everything. Very simple and easy. Then all they had to do was set the DMX fixtures how they wanted them.
