Elijah Shephard from The Lakes Church in Fruitport, MI brings us these cool LED strip bars.
For this project they started with their frames, which were made from 2×4’s and 1×2 furring strips. The two frames up top were made up of two 8 ft LED strips and two 5.5 ft strips spanned across 9 ft. The bottom frames were each made with two 5 ft strips and two 3.3 ft strips.
They attached BTF LED strips and attached them with liquid nails. The bigger frames on the side were suspended using high grade Paracord and the bottom fixtures were assembled as sets of four using 2×4’s to hold up the furring strips.
They are a semi-portable church so occasionally they have to tear down their stage. The frames were made to be disconnected from the source. They connected this all using 22/4 security camera wire which was significantly cheaper than regular 4 conductor LED wire extension. They used a 24-channel DMX decoder and a 12V power supply.
This was probably their smoothest LED strip project to date. Total cost $480.
Is that an LED Wall?
