Jon McKinley from Calvary Christian Center in Pottstown, PA brings us these floating window panes.
They got inspiration from another submission on the site. They decided they didn’t want a very straight line of windows so they staggered them around and added a few window candles for some effect.
The windows were made out of 1×2’s that they bought at Lowes. They cut them out to size and then used a radial arm saw to trim some notches so each piece fit inside each other.
The trees they used were actually branches that they got for free from a pastor friend who has a farm. They painted them white and braced them in 5-gallon buckets. They didn’t like how the white buckets looked so they wrapped them in black fabric they already had.
They used lights they already had purchased, four Par 64 led lights and four LED bar lights all of which they bought off amonstar.com. Altogether they spent $50 on wood, paint, and string.
