Wes Kordon from Camelback Community Church in Glendale, AZ brings us this awesome LED tape look.

From Wes: This stage is a lot less labor than it appears to be. We got the idea from Hillsong Phoenix and gave it a bit of our own spin. The LED lines, or “Icicles” as we’ve called them are just 1/2″ steel square tubing cut to 2-foot, 4-foot, and 6-foot lengths. We ordered LED tape for them and due to the issues we’ve all experienced with the supply chain, we ended up having to recycle all of the LED tape from previous projects. We had some lumber already laying around, so we drilled holes slightly smaller than the steel tubing and then hammered the tubes in. The LEDs are attached with their adhesive and then zip-tied as well. Our projection screen is just a wall at the back of our stage so we just painted it into the circle and then used a mask in Pro7 to limit the projection field. Lastly, the stage floor is just a high gloss printing vinyl with adhesive on the back, and the platforms for drums and keys are wenger stages with the same vinyl and then luan also wrapped with the vinyl and taped on. The rectangle on top is a holdover from a previous stage design, but we like it, so we keep it up.

Overall budget – around $1000
