Throwback: Hanging Masons

Cody Duck from bridgeCHURCH in Lexington, KY brings us this design incorporating hanging mason jars. (Originally posted August 2012)

They were inspired by Zen and the Art…

So they first created some walls using 2×4’s stained with a redwood stain they purchases from Lowes. They mounted the walls to their back walls using wood screws. They added cut bits of 2×4’s to the walls as shelves for LED candles.

They also bought mason jars, placed and LED tealight candle inside each one, and hung them from their rafters using twine from Walmart.

Finally, they recycled a cut down tree, cut it in three places and mounted it on their back wall.

Total cost: $150.
