Nic Dampier from Thornapple Valley Church in Hastings, MI brings us this bee-hive stage design.
They honeycombed their stage with 2ft hexagons, made out of brown hardboard and raised 4 inches from a brown hardboard wall using spacers and screws. They traced one design and used it as a stencil and ended up with over 100 hexagons. They spaced them using a 2×4 section of wood, and once they got the first row, the rest happened quickly.
Overall cost of materials was about $400 and time was about 10-12 hours with 5 volunteers.
