Elgin Combs from The Fields Church in Mattoon, Illinois brings us this awesome look.
For this stage design, they bought 1/8” thick hardboard, angle iron, and LED strip tape. They painted the hardboard with flat white paint, and attached them to the angle iron with self tapping screws. A welder from their church welded the angle iron frames and brackets, which attached directly to their stage floor with decking screws. They used a hand grinder to grind off the points of the screws, and lined the vertical sides of the frames with LED strip tape.
Their second location had a smaller stage, so they scaled down the design by cutting the 4’ hard boards in half, to create 2’ wide panels for the sides.
Scaled down, both locations looked the same. The great thing about this design was that it was simple enough to prep and install in one day!

I really love this work
Hi! I love this design! I’m wondering what it look like when stage lights are on and also house lights? During the message is when I’m concerned! Thanks! :)
