Mike Gerrells from Mission Hills in Littleton, CO brings us this cool use of stage structure and lighting.
They accomplished this with four 10′ box truss pieces with a truss block at the top. Then they used a bunch of 1 1/2″ black pipe to create hang points inside the truss, as well as to give is some stability.

I’m considering doing something similar with my band’s trussing. I’m wondering if you have to somehow secure the top of the trussing to prevent it from tipping.
