The design for this year’s Good Friday display centered around the church’s existing 8-foot cross, which was wrapped with three sections of red velvet stage fabric. The two sections that were 5 feet across were joined by a 16-foot vertical piece, symbolizing the blood and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The red velvet fabric was purchased from the website Georgia Expo, and the church was pleased with the quality of the material and how it complemented the overall design.

The display was further enhanced by the addition of large vases surrounding the cross, filled with water that had been dyed red. This was a poignant reminder of the suffering that Jesus endured on the cross for humanity’s salvation. The vases themselves were an elegant addition to the display, adding a touch of beauty and refinement to the overall design.
