Popcorn Kernels

Ben Stapley from Christ Fellowship Miami in Palmetto Bay, FL brings us these awesome props for their At the Movies series.

From Ben: Lauren Gonalez, our incredible Environmental Designer created oversized popcorn props for #AtTheMovies at Christ Fellowship. Below are the steps to replicate her incredible work.

1) Inflate orange balloons different sizes.

2) Use painters tape to secure the balloons in clusters of two and three onto the surface you are working on because they tend to roll over.

3) Slowly cover them with insulating foam. https://www.amazon.com/GREAT-STUFF-Cracks-Insulating-Sealant/dp/B0002YX98O?dchild=1&keywords=insulating%20foam%20great%20stuff&qid=1628685264&sr=8-3&linkCode=sl1&tag=csdi-20&linkId=541536c4d01b465ad8204bfa917bfb02&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

4) Allow them to set for 24 hours.

5) Carefully pop the balloons and remove excess balloon.

6) Spray paint portions of the foam yellow for butter look.

Praying this inexpensive yet dramatic prop helps you create environments that welcome people to your church, and more importantly, welcome them to Christ!
