Projection and Uplight

Adam Stone from RockPointe Church in Leander, Texas brings us this cool combo of projection and lighting.

This was their Mother’s Day set that they built last year to have a socially distant women’s panel discussion. They ended up using this set for a few months. They built 2 x 4 frames 4′ x 10′ and attached white foam core as a projection surface and a surface that they could uplight with Elation six bar 1000’s.

They already had the lights, the 2 x 4’s, and the projectors. So the foam core was the only purchase to make this happen. The biggest headache was creating the mask in ProPresenter to dial in the projection.

For a relatively inexpensive set, they were super impressed with how professional looking it turned out.
