Leighton Dietz from Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, OK brings us this fun kids stage design.
This set cost them under $100 (most of which was spent on the railing and spray paint). They used recycled foam board from previous projects and pieces from an old drum cage to make the desks. They recycled 2-inch foam sheets to create the planets for the ceiling. The captain’s chair was an old office chair that they added some material and fancy arms to.
“The Vortex” was just painted butcher paper. “Dave” the robot was made out of refrigerator boxes, hot glue, spray paint, and way too much free time over Christmas vacation. The railing was 2-inch PVC pipe spray painted black.
