The Radiant Harvest

Shelly Cavallaro from Hope Lutheran Church in Rochester, NY, shares that their concept for “The Harvest is Plentiful” was inspired by the “Honeycomb Easter” design showcased on this website. They utilized four panels, each measuring 4′ x 8′, with chicken wire spanning the front. The construction process involved using 12 color packs, each containing 100 sheets of 12 x 18″ paper in various colors, along with an additional five packs each of warm and cool colors (50 sheets per pack). Each piece of construction paper was meticulously cut into six pieces, individually rolled, and placed within the chicken wire for the design. The pre-existing panels were excluded from the budget, but expenses included $100 for the chicken wire and $280 for the paper. To enhance the visual impact, light bars were incorporated at the top of the panels since there was no existing overhead lighting.
