The Red, White, and Blues

Another Duke Dejong stage treatment…this time…4th of July style. The stage centered around a 12′ by 8′ American flag with three pieces of fabric underneath that were lit with red, white and blue. The whole center column was supported by two 1′ box trussing. Another pair of 1′ box trussing served as the anchor points for 4 spandex triangles that were lit in the same red white and blue.  In the background (dark in these pictures) there was patriotic bunting spanning the length of the walls. These were lit up during some strategic times during the service.

Where did you guys get the flag from?

Greg, I honestly do not remember. We had it for nearly 10 years, used it twice a year and put it back away. I can tell you that it was outdoor rated for durability and was 12' by 8'. I did a quick Google search and came up with lot's of options based on what size and quality you want. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

Hey I showed this stage design to my pastors and they really dug the podium you guys are using as well as the little table.

could you hook me up with where to get them and/or how to find them?

    Thanks!

Adam, good to talk to you today. Seriously, call or email anytime.

The end tables were purchased from Walmart and were in a 2-pack for $20. You can find them here: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-End-Table-Two

The truss lectern was hard for us to find 5 years ago, though if you google it now there are tons of options. The one we had is the top one on this page: http://toolsforstagecraft.com/n343.htm

Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.

    Duke,
hey man do you know the manufacturer of this lectern?? Is it maybe somewhere on the product?? Trying to get as much info as possible on it and the guy at tools for stage craft wouldn't give it to me.

    Thanks man,

    Adam

    Hey Adam,

I do not know the manufacturer and to my knowledge there isn't one listed on the lectern anywhere. I am no longer at that church either so I can't just go look. Is there anything specific you are looking for that I can help you find out? There are also lots of other truss lecterns out there too. If you Google "Truss Lectern" you get many options.
