Jeremy Courtright from Seven Marks Church in Raleigh, NC brings us this great take on the Lit Hive design.
They took white Coroplast hexagons and attached them to the wall. Then they took 1/2″ foam board and cut 1″ strips so they could have a small gap between the front and back piece of Coroplast.
They hot glued the foam board strips an inch from the edge and hot glued the tape lights facing out. One screw went through the middle of the black Coroplast hexagon that was used for the front.
Materials:
- 33 – RGB LED tape lights
- 6 – Power supplies
- 6 – DMX decoders
- 1 – 590m of LED tape wire
- 33 – 4’x8′ Coroplast
I love this!!
