Throwback: Tower Power

Richard Carr from Copperfield Church in Houston, Texas brings us this bundle of brightness. (Originally posted June 2011)

To create the design they used 1×2’s to frame out the 4×8 sheets of Coroplast. They cut strips of black Coroplast and used a staple gun to attach it to the frame of white Coroplast. The two middle frames were 4×12…the side ones 4×9. The frames were at a 40 degree angle and were held by nail gun and a cross 1X2 brace.

The entire Coroplast set was on 16” riser with white Coroplast in the front. They lit the riser with LED bars.

Editor’s note: You can always add great interest with your stage by simply adding levels. Lifting up the drums, keyboard player, or choir will add another element of interest to your stage.
