Ultra Flowy

Zachary I McCrorey from Transformation Church in Indian Land, SC brings us this awesome flowy look.

From Zachary: This stage design supported our most recent series called, Jonah. I was inspired by a really cool picture in the Rosebrand magazine that featured long white strips of curtains suspended over people’s heads. I thought that look would fit perfectly within the theme of this Jonah series – the look just felt very large. Because the curtain strips were incredibly light, they moved very freely creating movement which I thought was an additional win; it delivered a weird wavy vibe – a very tongue in cheek play on waves and/or mini sails. And because the curtains were a white and sheer-like material, they could be painted really well with our lights to support whatever mood would be onstage.

The curtains were purchased from Rosebrand. 242 yards of Organdy (Color:Ivory) was purchased. Once we received them, I found an awesome local company to have the material cut into around 90 1’x9′ strips. After the strips were cut, our team stapled them onto 1×1 furring strips. The wooden strips were then hoisted up to our electrics and secured. The final step was to drop and divide our LED Wall to fill in the space under the curtains.
