Journey of Redemption

The stage transformed immersing the audience in the symbolism of baptism. Austyn Neely of Oakwood Christian Church in Enid, Oklahoma shares a creative stage design depicting 4 scenes from Jesus’ life. The star represents his birth, the waves represent his baptism, the cup represents the last supper, and the cross represents his crucifixion. We debut this set design on Easter Sunday 2023. The wood frames are made from 1×4 board painted black. The actual designs are rope, and attached using small to medium-sized eye hooks. LED strip lighting was run on the inside of the frames and controlled by custom-made LED control boxes across the stage.

The unveiling of this exceptional stage design on Easter Sunday 2023 left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of those present. This extraordinary stage design serves as a testament to the power of artistic expression and its ability to inspire and uplift the soul.

I’m looking to possibly make this for our Easter stage design with the chalice, 3 crosses and a tomb. I’m curious to how you made the chalice out of rope?
