Adam Neal from Seven Marks Church in Raleigh, NC brings us this wooden palace.
They got some inspiration from “Mountains and Stars” and adapted it for the shape of their stage.
They used around 150 pallets and nailed them to a frame using nail guns. The throne was built by one of their team members. It was used as the center piece and for illustration throughout the series.
They ordered the lights from 1000bulbs.com.
Since the pallets were free, the cost of the design was low—around $400 (frame and lights).
You can see more pictures of the design on their Flickr page.
Tips: It’s a lot of work, but very simple. 1. Have lots of work gloves for your team, splinters are inevitable. 2. Having multiple nail guns will make the process go faster. 3. Overestimate the number of pallets you will need.
Looks Great!
