Christy Henry from Abundant Life in Lee’s Summit, MO brings us this oversized candy set.
They designed this stage set for their Children’s Ministry Wednesday night series called “Candy.”
The Sour Patch Kids and Dots boxes:
They wrapped each box in wrapping paper according to the actual candy box color. Then they scanned and printed the actual candy wrapper to poster size. They had to tape the papers like a puzzle, but it worked and it looked nice.
Peanut M&M’s bag:
Yellow paper taped to make into a bag shape, stuffed with news paper. Again scanned and printed to poster size.
Pixy Stix:
Pool noodles wrapped with thick white ribbon. Then scanned and printed the pixy stix label for the topper.
LifeSavers:
Paper towels and toilet paper rolls wrapped and scanned in printed wrapper with tin foil on the ends.
They went to the store “It’s Sugar” to purchase the nerds boxes, bazooka boxes, airhead pillows, and jolly rancher pillows.
Other things used:
- foam balls
- candy Christmas decor from Hobby Lobby
- large frisbees
- pool inflatables
