Stage Designs

Vintageness

Jordan Greene (Haciendo Collective) for the General Youth Division brings us this vintage design for their Commune-ity event.

There were two stages; for the main stage, their pulpit was constructed of several vintage hardback books which were donated by a local Christian college library. Their walls were constructed from pallets or skids that they pulled from dumpsters and found on Craigslist. The Vintage sign was cut from sheet metal and then insta-rusted with a chemical mix. The second stage was located in the gym for smaller breakout sessions. The wall was made from plywood, covered in canvas fabric, and then a woodstained sign that was cut from plywood and attached to the wall. Approx cost: $300
